A comprehensive view of the January Transfer Window concerning Premier League clubs. In total, £65 million was spent, way down on last year’s whopping £225 million, but more than double the 2010 January total. Chelsea spent the most money of all the clubs, somewhere in the region of £17.5 million, with Newcastle’s £10 million Senagalese signing Demba Papiss Cisse being the single most expensive purchase. Queens Park Rangers did the most business, a total of ten players coming and going at Loftus Road, while Liverpool saw the least activity, just one player in and one player out.
